Airports, Exes, & Other Things I’m Over by Shani Petroff (ARC Review)

3.5 ⭐️ ‘s

I got an ARC and was so excited to read this book early (I loved her last book “My New Crush Gave to Me). But I had mixed feelings about this book. I’m attributing it to the length of the book, because I think with more depth into the story it would have been better. I would have loved to get to know the characters better, and be familiar with the relationship that the book is centered around. I didn’t feel invested in the couple, because I really didn’t know anything about them. The “big event” happens right in the beginning, with no real build up. Then there is just a lack of communication that drags the story on, which is a little annoying after a while.

I loved the premise of this book, and the emotions were realistic, but I just needed more. If you want a very quick and simple couple drama read, this is for you.
