REVIEW: If you follow my reviews at all, you know I love Devney’s books! And I knew I was going to love this book after meeting Luke Rosen in the previous book. I wanted Luke to get a happy ever after so badly, because he’s just a wonderful person. We also meet Scarlett in the previous book, and I was just curious what her character arc would be like after everything she’s been through. Not only as a child, but also with her ex and how that played out with her twin, I needed things to start working for this woman. After her twin Presley’s story, it definitely seemed a little twisted up with Luke having dated Presley, but I think after reading the previous book I knew that Luke and Presley were more friends than anything else. In the beginning of this one, I wasn’t quite positive how it was all gonna come together, I mean I knew it would, but I couldn’t envision it until it was actually happening. That’s something I love about Devney Perry’s writing, she can make me go from reading a situation where I don’t know exactly how I feel about it to being absolutely, completely invested in the characters and their happy ever after! I sincerely enjoyed the whole journey these two went on. This series seems to keep getting better and better, which is why I cannot wait for Cass and Leo’s book Fallen Jester coming May 18, 2021!
