REVIEW: Wow. This was not where I thought Jack and Stella’s story was going. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster and way deeper than I thought it would be. I think what I like about the Willow Creek Valley series the most is that it has so many layers. There is so much going on with these characters and their relationships. I love the whole family and the friends, pretty much everyone involved. The Parkerson siblings are a wonderful family to each other, their parents not so much. The different family dynamics for all the different characters, play such a big part in what happens to them. Jack is also a part of the family and I love how that played into this story. As soon as I got a hint that there was something between Jack and Stella in Return to Us, I just really wanted them to be together. The trajectory of the story was just not what I thought it be at all and it ended up being so different from anything I’ve read in a while. The ending was really great and it really made the book for me! Plus, we get that little bit of glimpse at the end of what’s to come in the next book, which means I’m counting down the days until we get more Willow Creek Valley stories!
