SYNOPSIS: In one second, my life disappeared. My past. My memories. My future. The only certainty I have from the last three years is that my older brother is dead, and I am the only eye witness. In order to protect the case, the lawyers demand that no one give me any information about my life . . . I must remember on my own. My only help comes from my brother’s best friend and world-renowned investigative reporter, Spencer Cross. He has no idea how many nights I’ve spent dreaming of his name—and his body—next to mine. Now we’re a team and our goal is to recover my memories and retrace my past. But each day we spend together, he’s looking at me as more than his friend’s little sister and I find it harder to want my old life back. Instead I’m wishing for a new one—with him. His kiss feels like home. His arms make me feel safe, and I never want this to end. As my memories return, forcing me to face my future, everything falls apart… especially when I find an engagement ring hidden in my apartment. I have no idea who gave it to me, or what it means about my past. I may have asked Spencer to help me remember, but now I wish I could forget.
New York Times bestselling author Corinne Michaels brings you a new small-town, brother’s best friend romance.
REVIEW: Heart wrenching is the most romantic way. And what a spin on the Brother’s Best Friend trope! I seriously loved it. The slowest burn wrapped in mystery with all the pining. It starts with mostly Brielle’s POV. Her struggle with the memory loss is almost hard to read, because I just wanted her to remember so badly. Once we get Spencer’s POV, my heart broke a little more for the situation. I love the journey these two go on together to while trying to help Brielle remember. And the twists of the mystery definitely kept me guessing. Honestly, this book is the perfect example of why I will always pick up Corinne Michaels’ books–it made me feel so many damn emotions. It made me really FEEL, and I love that. I love how invested I am in these characters. I cannot wait to see where this series goes after this one.

SYNOPSIS: A month ago, I was a rookie with the best stats in the league. I was traveling the world, playing hockey, and making more money than I ever dreamed. Then my sister showed up on my doorstep with nowhere else to go. I don’t know the first thing about being responsible for a troubled teen, and the team jet isn’t exactly kid-friendly. Enter Piper. My sister’s new teacher and nanny. Smart, nurturing, and just as beautiful as I remember. I fell in love with her four years ago and never stopped. Too bad she hates my guts. We need her. And this time, I’m not letting her go.
REVIEW: This book! I love a good second chance romance. I love forced proximity. I sincerely enjoy when a main character has to take care of a younger sibling. This book has it all. Rebecca Jenshak does such an amazing job at making the hockey team connected to one another in such wonderful ways. I love the family they are and how they really support Tyler and Everly. Watching Tyler and Piper find their way back to their love for each other had me completely invested in this book. I am absolutely in love with them. I cannot recommend this series enough, and I can’t wait to see what the Wildcats bring us!!

SYNOPSIS:I never thought I would get pregnant in college. When I did, I thought leaving Jack Jennings was doing him a giant favor—he had a bright future ahead of him as a football star—the last thing he needed was me and a baby standing in his way of his dreams. Honestly? I figured he would eventually forget about me. I would raise our child in secret and watch Jack on television, and the pain of what I’d done to him would heal. The last person I expected to see on my brothers doorstep seven years later was Jack; obviously, or I wouldn’t have answered it. A superstitious athlete, dreams were keeping him awake at night that were preventing him from excelling on the field—dreams he was hoping I could make…disappear. He looked so good. So much older. Kind. Handsome. Turns out, he hadn’t forgotten about me either, and he hadn’t put our past behind him.
The MRS. Degree is Book 2 in the new Accidentally in Love Series!
REVIEW: Let’s start with Jack. He is totally book boyfriend material! I think the way he really loved Penelope, and the way he handles everything was pretty mature. I also just love Sara Ney’s humor, and some of her sports romances are my absolute favorites! We see Davis and Juliet from The Player Hater right in the beginning of this one. Davis is Penelope’s brother and bought her a house right next to his. They’re super close, and he is an awesome uncle to Skipper! While I agree with the sentiment of Davis’ feelings about everything Penelope kept secret, I didn’t love the way he went about telling her that. Secret baby is always a hard trope, and I think Sara Ney did well with this one in general. For me personally, the reasons for the secret have to be very specific things, or I just have trouble with it. This one did not have one of those reasons, so it was just hard for me to get past that (which is totally a personal problem). If you like the secret baby trope, I think you’re going to like this one!
I am lucky enough to be on Sara Ney’s ARC Team and have reviewed this book with honesty in exchange for an early copy!

REVIEW: This book was so much better than I thought it be and I thought it was gonna be great! This series has been so emotional so far, and I definitely like the previous books, but this one is by far my favorite!! You see some of the set up in the previous books, which definitely adds to this story. I was really anticipating this one, because I just didn’t know what to expect when it came to how it would play out between Nova and Finn. These two were just meant to be together! They were also just such a likable characters–even when they were going to their struggles and dealing with everything else. I felt like the things that were difficult for them were often outside of their control rather than things that they were doing themselves or each other. I also appreciate the different backgrounds of these two, and how they address that they see things from different perspectives. They also listened and educated each other about their own experiences. Nova is just so strong, caring, and loving. She was a wonderful female character. I’ve been really curious about Declan as well from previous books and I was wondering how he was gonna play into this story. I felt like there were some good Easter eggs about his story in this one, and I am really, really hoping that Victoria Denault is going to take it where I think she’s taking it, because sign me the fuck up. Honestly, I just was so emotionally satisfied by this book. And not only do I love this story immensely, I love this freakin’ cover!! It is too cute and I can’t wait to get my physical copy!
Victoria’s debut novel, One More Shot, was released June 2, 2015. Between 2015 and 2019 she has had 10 novels published with Forever (Hachette) in two standalone series – The Hometown Players and The San Francisco Thunder. Victoria’s love of books began at 12 when she picked up her first Sweet Valley High and grew from there. Her favorite childhood gift remains the 1930s typewriter her parents found at a garage sale which actually wasn’t a gift for her. It was meant to be a display piece in their front hall but Victoria snuck it into her bedroom and it was on that typewriter she first began pounding out her own stories. When not writing books Victoria can usually be found on a beach somewhere. Her favorite beaches are La Concha in San Sebastian, Spain, Zuma Beach in Malibu California and Ocean Park, Maine. Synopsis: I’ve loved Calder Cruz from the moment he taught me how to fly. Racing down a mountain and giving me the release I so desperately needed. My understanding. My safe space. Hadley has fought for a life of her own ever since her sister’s kidnapping. When she was drowning in expectations and family pressures, Calder was always the one who understood her. Until one night changed it all. From best friends to strangers in a single breath. She’s like a fire that lives inside me. Even when I thought it was all burned out, there were still embers that lived in my bones. Calder knows what it’s like to almost lose the people he loves most. He’ll never make that kind of mistake again. Working at the fire station and taking care of his daughters are the only things he needs. All it takes is a single moment to make him realize how wrong he is. A split second of coming close to losing the woman he has always loved. But as long-buried embers light anew, there are those who lurk in the shadows. And they’ll do whatever it takes to extinguish that flame for good…
Review: This book, so many feelings!! After reading book one, Tattered Stars, which I absolutely adored, I was so excited for book 2. I had high hopes, especially with the little glimpses we get of Hadley and Calder in book 1, and this book was everything I wanted it to be! There was the romantic suspense angle that was intense and kept me invested in the overall story until the very end. Then there was Hadley and Calder themselves, with so much to unpack with both of these characters individually and together. I loved their backstories so much. I also enjoyed seeing everything play out and how these two worked together. Honestly, the range of emotions I felt during this book just reminded me that Catherine Cowles does not disappoint when it comes to steamy, romantic suspense that will break your heart, but stitch it right back up again. I sincerely cannot wait to see what happens in the rest of this series, because I know I’m going to love every emotional moment!!
