Release Date: May 18, 2021

SYNOPSIS: Leo Winter loves his life. He works when he needs money. He rides when he craves freedom. He frequents the local bar when he wants a good time. The Tin Gypsies might be a memory, but the bachelor life he lived with his motorcycle club still suits him fine. So when a one-night stand surprises him at a family barbecue and claims she’s pregnant with his child, he’s certain he’s died and gone to hell. Cassandra Cline took one night off from her structured life. One. And now her wild fling with the local bad boy has turned her life sideways. Her dreams and academic career are circling the drain, and none of it would have happened if she’d stayed far, far away from Leo. Except avoiding him is impossible, especially when she’s forced to move home to Clifton Forge, Montana. And he refuses to leave her side when a series of strange accidents put her and their baby at risk. But are they accidents? Or is she standing in the middle of a battlefield she doesn’t understand? Her only allies are people she barely knows. And a man who has the potential to steal her heart. If only he’d stop playing the fool.

Fallen Jester is Book 5 in the Tin Gypsy Series!
Motorcycle Clubs and Small Town Romances

REVIEW: This one was definitely a little heart wrenching and I enjoyed every minute of it! We met Cass in the previous book, Noble Prince, when she was kidnapped with Scarlet, and find out that she’s pregnant! In other words, I knew going into this book it was right up my alley. Accidental pregnancy is a favorite of mine when done well. Luckily, Devney Perry tends to do it justice. She’s amazing at giving characters depth in a way that has me invested in them even when they are making poor choices. Cass and Leo had so much going on! It was really interesting to learn about Leo’s past and witness how that all played into how he handled the situation. In the previous books, I think Leo and Emmett are the single, fun guys that care about everyone and show up when they’re needed, but we didn’t know much more than that. Getting to actually know the background for Leo pulled me right into the story and I was looking forward to seeing his growth. Cass is definitely the perfect woman for him. I mean the way she handles him–just her stance on the situation, her understanding–she’s just what he needs. Although I wanted to smack them both throughout the story, I did like how everything played out for these two. The story had such a genuine feel to it. I’m actually sad that the next book will be the end to this series! The characters have all been so interesting. Devney Perry also left us with that little teaser of the next book at the end. Emmett and Nova’s story, Tin Queen, is definitely going to be a doozy!

Where I Belong by J. Daniels

4 STARS

Release Date: February, 2017

SYNOPSIS: When Mia Corelli returns to Alabama for a summer of fun with her childhood best friend, Tessa, there’s only one thing keeping her on edge. One person that she’d do anything to avoid. Benjamin Kelly. World’s biggest dickhead. Mia hates him with a fury and has no desire to ever see him again. When she decides to start her summer off with a bang and finally give away her v-card, she unknowingly hands it over to the one guy that excelled at making her life miserable, learning a valuable lesson in the process. Always get the name of the guy you’re going home with. Ben can’t get the girl he spent one night with out of his head. When she leaves him the next morning, he thinks he’ll never see her again. Until he sees her lounging by the pool with his sister. Mia is determined to hate Ben, even though she can’t forget him. Ben is determined to prove he’s not the same guy he used to be. What happens when the one person you wish never existed becomes the one person you can’t imagine being without?

REVIEW: Parts of this book made me laugh so freakin’ hard and other parts made me clutch at my heart. Seriously, what whirlwind of emotions when the male lead used to torture the female lead as children, but now all he wants is to be with her. The way they meet again, without knowing each other, and then run into each other and realize that one-night stand the night before was actually with someone they knew. WOW. What I appreciated was how Mia didn’t just let Ben off the hook for what he did when he was younger. I love that she expressed herself and stood up for herself. That she reminded him who he had been to her, and how hard it was to reconcile that with who he is now. And luckily, Ben is here to fight for what he wants. I just felt like this was an emotional journey that was really satisfying in the end.

They say when you hit rock bottom the only way to go is up, but nothing is ever that simple.

REVIEW

Okay, Emily Goodwin satisfied a lot of readers by giving us Dean Dawson’s story! The Dawson Family series has been a lot of fun, but I really needed to know more about Dean and Kara’s relationship since Kara was so unlikable throughout the other books. Luckily, Emily gave us Rock Bottom and we finally got answers about the doomed relationship.

This book was so fun! The Dawson’s never disappoint. There are laughs and emotion and everything you could possibly want. Of course, Dean doesn’t want another relationship after everything he’s dealt with from his ex-wife. And of course, Rory decides to throw caution to the wind and try for a one-night stand. What happens after these two meeting is hilarious. I loved their journey and I absolutely love that Dean got his HEA!!! I recommend you go read this entire series ASAP!
