When she begs me to come on a weekend getaway so I can bond with her new boyfriend, I can’t say no—no matter how badly I want to. After all, who will keep an eye on the guy; he’s your stereotypical, professional football player (emphasis on PLAYER) and I don’t trust him with my friends heart. Worse? He has the nerve to bring his single best friend Davis on the trip, too. Davis is too handsome, so funny and smart he can’t possibly be human. Grandma’s, babies and kittens all fall for his smile. In fact, everyone adores but me **narrows eyes** What’s he hiding? I refuse to fall for his act; at some point he’ll will drop the Good Guy act and show his true colors: he’s a player, too. He must be.
You know the saying: if he seems too good to be true, he probably is.
The Player Hater is Book 1 in the new Accidentally in Love Series!
REVIEW: Talk about a Meet-Not-So-Cute! These two did not have a good first impression. Sara Ney’s usual banter and hilarity definitely show up in this one. Juliet and Davis have the worst of luck, which gives readers all the laughs. Juliet is so very skeptical, of Thad, her best friend’s boyfriend, and of Davis. She does not love Jocks, that’s for sure! I was kind of wondering if she would ever be won over. I wasn’t sure about Davis in the beginning, because I thought Juliet protests about the camper were completely valid. He definitely drew on me and I’m glad I got to see what happened with these two. I’m also VERY excited to see where the next book takes us!! The MRS. Degree is coming April 2nd.
I am lucky enough to be on Sara Ney’s ARC Team and have reviewed this book with honesty in exchange for an early copy!
